Water Forum Factsheet 3 Water Management in Ireland

The Water Forum has published a Factsheet providing an overview of Water Management in Ireland. Managing water resources is a very complex business. There are many organisations involved on a statutory basis to address legislative requirements, Government Departments develop and review policies, different organisations and agencies implement those policies and others monitor outcomes.

This factsheet aims to give an overview of who does what.  It is not an exhaustive list as there are many more organisations involved in different aspects of aquatic management such as angling groups etc.
