We are recruiting, a Research and Policy Executive, closing 16th June.

The Water Forum is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Research and Policy Executive (Grade Executive Scientist). The post will be full-time until December 2027 in a position facilitated by Tipperary County Council.

The Research and Policy Executive will support the Forum’s Research Lead and the wider Team to provide scientific research to advance thinking and policy development with regard to the Forum’s statutory role and supporting the delivery of the Forum’s Strategic Plan. Duties will include research and analysis of new and existing Irish and European water & water services policy and legislation relevant to the protection of water quality and the management of Ireland’s water resources. The post holder will contribute to the development of policy reports and submissions to public consultations relevant to water and wastewater services.

Salary Scale €51,549 – €71,656 (2nd LSI).

Starting pay for all new entrants will be at the minimum scale. Panels will be created from which future permanent and temporary positions may be offered during the lifetime of the panels.
