The Story of Water to air on 7th July

The Story of Water documentary will air Virgin Media One next Wednesday 7th July.

The film provides an opportunity to learn more about Ireland’s water resources, networks and the need to build resilience in water supplies.

A timely reminder of the ongoing need to reduce demands on our water resources and supply networks by conserving water whilst also continuing to practice hand hygiene.

There is also increased pressure on wastewater systems with the network experiencing blockages and pump failures owing to wipes being flushed down the toilet.

The Think Before You Flush campaign aims to raise awareness of issues caused when the wrong items are flushed down the toilet.
