National Federation of Group Water Schemes Rural Water week

Rural Water Week – Monday, 7th to Friday, 11th September 2020

Rural Water Week aims to celebrate all that is ‘rural water’ and to highlight the excellent work being done by group water schemes up and down the country.

Community-owned group water schemes ensure that tens of thousands of rural households, business and farms have a consistent supply of quality drinking water and are going a step further, ensuring that the environment from which our water comes is protected and maintained for future generations.

The week’s activities include a series of media engagements, the launching of new initiatives and a 2-day Webinar, addressing major issues of concern to group water schemes, the communities they serve and the wider environment.
