Environmental Attitudes Infographic

An EPA/ Red C (January 2020) online opinion poll of 1019 adults over 18 years on attitudes to the environment show that water quality is considered the most pressing environmental issue by 16% of those surveyed. Younger people are least likely to see water quality as the most pressing issue whilst 20% of 35 – 54 year olds felt it was the most pressing issue, reducing to 18% of over 55 year olds.

87% agree that the environment is a valuable asset to the Irish people and 78% stated they had taken positive steps to help the environment.
