Water and Climate Conference a great success

Last week the Water Forum hosted a conference to discuss Managing Ireland’s Water in a Changing Climate. The event was well attended by agencies with  roles and responsibilities for managing water, climate mitigation and adaptation and nature.

The latest science on the impacts of climate change on water resources was presented in the first session. A panel discussion between agencies on the opportunities and challenges of taking a catchment-based and an integrated approach to water management and climate adaptation followed.

After lunch there were case studies presentations of best practice in water, climate and nature management.

All of the presentations are now available on the Water Forum’s You Tube Channel
