Research tender: Public participation in environmental management, with policy recommendations for the protection and restoration of water bodies.

Today, we have launched a call for research on;  A review of best practice (national and international) in public participation in environmental management, with policy recommendations for the protection and restoration of water bodies.

This research will help us deliver a key objective of our Strategic Plan for 2022-2027, to advocate for the need for and benefits of meaningful public engagement in water resource management.

Applications are invited by researchers from any research institute in Ireland (including Higher Education Institutes, public body or private research organisations), or appropriate consultancy.  The research tender has a maximum budget of €24,950 (inclusive of VAT and overheads where applicable). Timelines for the research and deliverables can be discussed and agreed between the Researcher and the Water Forum once the project is awarded, where some flexibility can be facilitated.
