From time to time the Water Forum will organise a campaign to raise awareness of particular topics. This might be education activity or an engagement initiative.

 

In January 2021, we collaborated with Development Perspectives on their January SDG Challenge Actions to protect our water resources Sustainable Development Goal 6.

Water Matters at Home video

Water matters at Home is a short animated video with advice on what each person can do every day to minimise their impact on water.

In Spring 2021, we held  a schools inter-generational competition to explore the changes in water matters at home in 50 years from 1971 to 2021. Children interviewed older adults to find out about the changes.

The winners were announced on Earth Day 22nd April

First prize Senior class:

Scoil Naomh Erc, Ballyheigue, Glenderry, Co. Kerry

First prize Junior class:

Oatlands Primary School, Stillorgan, Dublin

Runner up:

Danescastle National School, Carrig on Bannow, Wexford.
